Staff at Hilldales have been a lifeline to me. Without them, I don’t know what would have become of me.

I now have hope for the future. I want to move into a more independent living place. I will never say goodbye completely and know I will always be welcomed back to my family and friends at Hilldales

Could not be happier with the staff at this care home. They look after my dad 24/7 and go above and beyond.

The staff will contact me anytime my dad needs anything.

When he wanted to add a TV channel to his room, they were really accommodating and had no problems with us getting it sorted.

Hilldale saved my life! I was an alcoholic when I was admitted. Frankly, I have no recollection of getting here but I came from a hospital where I had been for a while. My experience here has been amazing. I have received counselling sessions which have weaned me off the booze. Food is restaurant standard. Staff are caring and cheerful even in the face of provocation from residents. The staff are saints. The room is comfortable and regularly cleaned. Management of the home and residents is spot on. I would recommend this amazing sanctuary to anyone and everyone.

I have found the staff at Hilldales to be flexible and supportive, kind and welcoming. They have demonstrated a range of skills in relation to S and are able to support individuals whose lives have become chaotic and who need stability and calm. They are particularly helpful at working with people who have a combination of problems including addiction, poor mental health, potential homelessness and minor criminality.

To Leigh and Hilldales,Just want to thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all the love and care you gave and had for my brother J. Thank you so much.

  • A’s sister and family

My family and I are extremally grateful to you all for looking after my brother, A who has sadly passed recently. A always spoke highly of the care home and all of the staff over the twenty years he was with you, he would often tell me how much he thought of all the staff and how much he valued there friendship. A would often tell me how the chef would often look after in the morning with his breakfast and how much Hilldales felt like a true home to him. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to you all at Hilldales for the twenty years of care you provided for A and for giving him a true home.

Praise for Hilldales

On xx May I attended your palliative/end of life resident who later died that evening. We had a very unsettled afternoon, and he required a lot of comfort and watching; this was provided by Anoop who I have to say is a very outstanding member of your care team.

Anoop has a natural, gentle caring side and nothing was too much, he was in the moment and present, ready to help in anyway and relieve any suffering. My colleague commented that she too had a very positive experience with Anoop in the past. She said he was professional and helpful when she was visiting a client for leg care. He was non-judgemental towards the patient and showed genuine compassion for him.

We both agree, he is generally awesome!
